Preparing Immigrant Group for Economic and Social Success in the U.S.- The Case of Iranian Immigrants

During the first half of the 20th century, the national origins policy in the United States favored European immigrants.  In 1960, the United States liberalized immigration laws. Since that time, according to Kelley (1993), the racial and cultural composition of this nation has changed significantly.
